Currently I am finishing my PhD thesis under the supervision of Prof Alex. Potamianos. My research focus is on multimodal mobile interfaces and more specifically on the topic of blending speech and visual modalities.
 
Previously, I pursued a BEng/MEng degree under the supervision of Vassilios Digalakis. My master and diploma thesis focus was on Distributed Speech Recognition: http://www.telecom.tuc.gr/~perak/speech

My main Research Interests include :
-Multimodal & mobile interfaces 
-Speech processing & recognition, speech interfaces    -Distributed Speech Recognition (DSR)

Additional Research Interests: 
-Multimedia learning/understanding 
-Adaptive interfaces/Human Computer Interaction (HCI)    -Collaborative filtering/Recommendation systems 
-Pattern recognition/Machine Learning 
-Cognitive science/Machine perception
