About

I live and work in Chania, Crete. I am presently employed as a laboratory assistant at the Department of Sciences of the Technical University of Crete.

I hold a diploma in Computer and Informatics engineering from the University of Patras (1997, Greece), a Master in Science in Organization and Management from the Technical University of Crete (2001, Greece) and a PhD in Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence from Paris Descartes University (2009, France).

My research interests focus in the Computer Science - Artificial Intelligence domain, in the Agent Technology field and especially in Agent Oriented Software Engineering (AOSE). I am also interested in Model-Driven Engineering (MDE) and in Artificial Intelligence applications, mainly in the financial, Ambient Intelligence (AmI), Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) and marketing domains.

Professionally, I have worked as information systems architect, designer and developer, technical manager, project manager and Information Technology and Services consultant.
